    Everytime that Batman smiled in the Arkham Series.... or kinda (the third, the fouth and firth was not as Batman, but as it was a sincere smile I put it the same way).

    Many fans gave Return to Arkham's visuals a lot of grief but simply turning down the in-game brightness makes a big difference. I can't live without the remastered rain effects anymore! It looks so good!

    Sometimes it feels like what Batman is doing is pointless and for his own gratification

    At least when I'm playing him. Like in Arkham City, Batman can see a bunch of guys on a roof with guns. He swoops down, beats up the guys and disarms them leaving them knocked out on the ground.

    He comes back later, those guys are back on their feet because all Batman did was beat them up and they have their guns because Batman either didn't get rid of their guns or didn't get rid of their gun stash.

    Or maybe they're meant to be different guys and the old guys are injured for a longer term of time? I dunno. It just feels like Batmans swooping in sometimes to beat up random guys who's only crime is standing around brandishing firearms.

    Or not even that, some of these clowns aren't even armed, they're just guys and Batman just beats them up because they look like thugs.

    Strangely though, I kind of like this as characterization for Batman. Either he's got a sixth sense for knowing who needs a beating, or he just doesn't care and needs to take out his aggression on muscled goons in wife-beaters and masks looking targets when their aren't people actively committing crimes for him to beat up. Arkham City must be heaven for him because at least almost everybody inside is guilty of something.

    Do you ever find it irritating when you click the counter button as you're about to get punched whilst you're countering but it doesn't counter ? Yeah that's my entire Arkham origins experience
