Back when Knight came out, GameStop had a midnight release with a Batman villains costume contest. I chose Scarecrow from Batman Begins because I had already put it together and I did win. However, my newspaper caught me taking a selfie with sunglasses on because I was sending a goof pic to someone.

    secret move in arkham knight

    Posted: 05 Nov 2019 04:19 PM PST

I dont know if anyone has discovered this before. but if you super stun a thug (3x cape stuns) and if you activate the pick up move while they are on the air before they hit the ground (RT+B for Xbox or R2+B for ps4) Batman will grab them by the legs and knock them out. I only discovered this recently and haven't found anyone mention this move. if you have let me know!

Why _____ as the Arkham Knight was the Best Move

    Posted: 05 Nov 2019 06:12 AM PST

Having just completed the Rocksteady Arkham trilogy and seeing the debate online regarding the handling of Arkham Knight's identity, I wanted to give my reasons why I believe Jason Todd as the Arkham Knight was the best move.

Rocksteady set out to make the final chapter in their trilogy be both the biggest in scale and the most personal and emotional for Batman. They accomplished this by having Batman face off against the combination of Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight/Jason Todd. Biggest in scale(the entirety of Gotham City under attack by Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight) and the most personal and emotional (the struggle within Batman battling the fear toxin and its amplification of the Joker poisoned blood/hallucinations potentially turning Batman into a killer as well as the return of Jason Todd, a member of the Bat family that Batman had believed he lost).

The theme throughout the story of Arkham Knight is fear, more specifically Batman's two greatest fears, one that is "external" and the other that is "internal". The external fear Batman has is of losing members of his "family", which Scarecrow attempts to exploit by the kidnapping of his allies. The internal fear Batman has is of losing his way and resorting to killing, which the Joker tries to exploit via Batman's hallucinations, as Batman is exposed to more and more of Scarecrow's fear toxin.

No other character represents Batman's external fear better than Jason Todd. Jason was a member of the "family" that Batman lost, a loss Batman most surely blames himself for and a fate Jason suffered that Batman cannot allow anyone else to suffer in his "family". There are certain choices and actions made by Batman in the story that are dictated by his fear of losing anyone else in his "family". Using Jason as the Arkham Knight highlights this theme of fear, with Jason's "death" being the realization of Batman's external fear.

I have seen the characters of Hush or Damian Wayne among others mentioned as possibilities for who the Arkham Knight could have been. But neither of those characters represent the fear and loss on the level that Jason represents to Batman. I appreciate that the Arkham Knight story allowed us to see the struggles within Batman, heightened by Scarecrow and his fear toxin and supplemented by Jason Todd/Arkham Knight. This was a story where it wasn't just about Batman fighting villains with their master plans but dealing with his battles within.

I found it interesting that Jason, representing Batman's external fear of loss, returns only to eventually assume an identity, Red Hood, that has no issue in killing in his crusade for justice, which is Batman's greatest internal fear, a slippery slope that would no longer separate him from his enemies.

Also noteworthy, is the moment when Batman is wheeled into Arkham Asylum at the end and Tim Drake/Robin asks, "Batman, is that you?". This recalls the moment when Jason asked the same thing when he was captured by the Joker, but unlike Tim, Batman never appeared to rescue Jason. Batman says, "I'm sorry" in his response to Tim. An apology he is able to give to Tim right away but one that he cannot give to Jason until long after Jason's ordeal at the hands of the Joker.

Joker serves as the glue to all of this. He is responsible for Batman's loss in the death of Jason (external fear) and manifests himself as hallucinations in attempting to take over Batman and have him kill (internal fear) amplified thanks to Scarecrow's toxin. These three antagonists compliment each other in battling Batman on physical, emotional and mental levels.

One final note I would like to add, there is the moment where Batman locks Joker away in a prison cell forever, overcoming the toxin and the hallucinations and Joker's overall hold on him. There is a brief moment where we see several other prison cells. Fascinating to think what Batman has locked in those other cells.

I had cloud save on under epic games launcher settings but I don't have space right now for it so I deleted it. Can I expect to have my save back when I download it again or is it gone? I didn't see anything in the game settings
