    I'm a martial artist and a bit of a nerd and I hear a bunch of people try and list out what arts he knows but I have spent time just watching Batman's choreography throughout the 4 games just to do this. This shit took me a while I'm not gonna lie to you. Also I try to avoid too much overlap in technique so while he may do a move that exists in a certain style, it's not predominant enough for me to consider adding to the list.

    They should have just said that Deadshot was "recast" and just have him be black.

    The 90s Batman movies had Bruce change face and hair color, sure it was the same race but clearly a different face, and out of all complaints of Batman Forever, that was the least of everyone's worries.

    Hell, they had Harvey go from Billy Dee Williams to Tommy Lee Jones.

    The James Bond films go and constantly replace the actors, sure they rebooted with Daniel Craig, but before that, they were all vaguely in the same continuity.

    Arrow had Sara Lance originally be brown-haired and that was actually mentioned in dialogue and yet they had a blond actress play her in season 2.

    The X-Men films had a black Trask who was now Peter Dinklage in the 70s.

    Hell, look at what the Harry Potter films did to Flitwick! Okay, he never changed actors, but he was basically still redesigned from "goblin" to "human".

    Terrence Howard and Don Cheadle don't look alike at all. Mark Ruffalo Banner has very different mannerism from Norton's Banner, let alone a large difference in physical appearance.

    This a video game series where we just have to jive with the fact that characters in Asylum who have more cartoony designs are the same people in Knight with more realistic faces.

    Like yeah, it's not like none of those recasts weren't noticeable, people called them out, and sure I guess a different complexion is harder to gel with people, but we can ultimately get over it. People mocked the race change, but the whole "the old Deadshot was a fake who's just as skilled and might as well just be the real Deadshot since for the timeline to work he's been more active than the 'real' one and Batman never knew" is just as stupid and will be just as mocked.

    Now did Deadshot even need to be black? Probably not, even "brand synergy" doesn't work, nobody liked the movie, he's not coming to play him and it's the only media that depicts him as black, even an animated film that came out afterward had him played by Christian Slater and he looked comic accurate. Injustice 2 had him be white, if a person were to run into any Deadshot media that wasn't the film they'd see him as white.

    Not to mention that character doesn't even look like Smith's character, he's not bald and is clean-shaven, literally, the only resemblance is "black". So maybe he should have just stayed white.

    But game development can take a long time, maybe they thought the movie would be more popular and that Deadshot in other media would be portrayed as black like how Catwoman randomly is sometimes (seriously she's a weird case of character whose just black sometimes and people just accept it because... Eartha Kitt? Like even the people who you always hear screaming at every race change just never bring it up.) and so it might have been too late to change it, and in that case... just say he's black, the character's physical description has literally never mattered.

    The only justification I can see where it makes sense for them to have it be a different character would be if they don't want to give him the same personality as the previous ones, and in that case... why? His personality was perfectly fine and suited how he is in the comics, unlike the Will Smith version which is making me hope he's not written to be like the Will Smith version, because basically means that they made the comic accurate Deadshot into a fake and had the worse version kill him and take his place as the real one.
