| I recently rewatched Batman: Assault on Arkham and it actually breaks canon Posted: 10 Aug 2021 09:21 PM PDT The break in canonicity is real small to notice but very important. During the breakout scene near the end of the movie we get multiple cameos from famous Batman villains trying to escape, amongst them is Bane, which makes no sense. In the Arkhamverse Bane isn't an inmate of Arkham Asylum, he's a Blackgate inmate, and he's only in Arkham by the events of Arkham Asylum because Joker burnt down Blackgate, and even then his presence in the prison was kept a secret by Young and Joker. So yeah, I guess it was never canon to begin with, go figure. [link] [comments] |
