    I love me all the Arkham Games. But when it comes to the atmosphere, Arkham Asylum created a moody promise that the rest of the games didn't deliver on. I'd like a Gothic Gotham as represented by this pic in a future Batman Game. (Art by Dillon Lamando)

    I've replayed them a few times but for some reason I always rush through asylum to get to the later ones, mainly because it shows its age a bit through the controls and I like a lot of the gadgets you get in City and Knight, but holy shit this game is still so good.

    The Scarecrow nightmare scenes are fucking stellar, I still remember thinking my game crashed the first time I played it, it's just incredibly well done. I'm really taking my time and trying to find all the little Easter eggs and secrets too, so many that I just straight up missed the first couple of times I played.

    I honestly think this is one of the strongest series of games ever made, I always thought Asylum was a bit of a weak link and genuinely can't see how I ever came to that conclusion.
