Arkham City will forever be one of the best sequels to any game ever Posted: 28 May 2020 01:17 PM PDT Seriously. Just such a solid sequel in every way. It rewards you for having played the first game through the story beats but even through the gameplay. It doesn't change the combat system but just adds upon it allowing for players who were already skilled in Ayslum to just start beating some ass. What a great sequel in every sense of the word. Does anybody have the PS4 ShareFactory effects of Batman Arkham Knight? Posted: 28 May 2020 04:42 PM PDT If someone does, I'llask for them to send them in the Messages section. If someone has a PS4 and ShareFactory but doesn't know how to export the files, here are some tutorials: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6E31GyMI_tk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHjHAqEvuO8 Any help is appreciated! Origins really should've taken like 15 years before Arkham Ayslum Posted: 28 May 2020 01:00 PM PDT Just that little fix alone could've solved so many timeline issues and where to place things. That is until the batgirl dlc comes out:/ [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 May 2020 12:57 PM PDT At the Asylum the riddel about scarecrow (Dr Jonathan Crane plans on elevating fear to new depths) seems to be pointing out his secret lair at arkham city, the secret hatch in arkham city is located next to a "crane" in the depths of the sea(a boat which contains new plans to spread his fear toxin all over the city). My Pitch for the Fourth Arkham Game Posted: 28 May 2020 01:47 PM PDT I wanted to start this by saying that I did think that Knight was a *fine* game, but I was let down by the story and where they decided to go with this game. I wanted to share my pitch for how they should have made Arkham Knight (mostly story, but some gameplay features as well). The game starts out with the Ra's Al Ghul part from Arkham Knight: Season of Infamy. Scene for Scene. But, at the end, a hooded figure busts into the room and takes out all of the ninjas, knocks back Batman, kills Ra's, and leaves. This leaves Batman dumbfounded, but he's not gonna cry for the rest of his life over Ra's' death because, you know, he did do Arkham City. Later in the game, Batman gets captured by the League of Assassins and is told that he is going to be the new leader because he drank the cure in City which had Ra's' blood in it (sure, copies were made, but Batman drank the one that was straight up made with his blood). Batman tries to say no, but the League says that if he doesn't, they'll blow up Gotham or kill Robin or something. So, Batman has to stay and run the league. During this time, you'd get to play as Batman while he does stuff for the League, but you'll also play as the Bat Family (Robin, Nightwing, maybe Catwoman, etc), as Batman isn't able to protect Gotham as much, if at all. Batman has little contact with the Bat Family and the outside world because of this (you can say that the League took his communication devises) While working for the League, Batman is trying to figure out who the hooded figure was that killed Ra's, similar to how he investigated the Arkham Knight in Knight. The Bat Family segments would be similar to the Mary Jane/Miles segments in Spider-Man PS4, but you'd actually be stopping crimes and stuff. About 1/3 into the game, the League gets attacked by another group of ninjas, headed by the hooded figure we saw kill Ra's. These ninjas are so highly trained that they easily take out (but don't kill) the League assassins and get to Batman and capture him. Batman comes to and realizes that he's been taken to old Arkham Asylum. He is taken all the way to the throne room that Joker uses in Arkham Asylum (the game). There, on Joker's throne, sits Hush, with Bruce Wayne's face (duh). He's the leader of this new group, rivals to the League of Assassins. Hush and Batman have an expository conversation where it is revealed that:
Batman questions Hush, Hush gives an honest, yet vague response, etc. Eventually, Hush reveals the name of his new group. He reveals that he stole Wayne's money, bought Arkham Island, and created the Court. Of. Owls. That's right. In this game, it's gonna be Batman and the League of Assassins vs. Hush and the Court of Owls. I know, in the comics, the Court is an organized cult, but why not do something different in this game. The Court is gonna be a rival to the League. At the end of the confrontation, Hush asks a random peon to summon his three personal assassins. The peon replies, "yes, Sensei Wayne," giving a nod to Sensei from the comics. The assassins are:
The rest of the game seems pretty straight-foward. Batman makes the League give him permission to fight in Gotham. He fights Prometheus and beats him. He fights Talon and beats him. We're nearing the end of the game now when he fights the Arkham Knight, who is revealed to be........... Jason Todd! Just kidding, the real identity of the Arkham Knight in this game is Damian Wayne. It turns out that Talia had a secret son after her and Batman's "night in Metropolis." This slightly retcons City, but I would have Damian be like 16 in this. Damian is mad at Batman because he blames him for getting Talia, his mother, killed, so he joined the Court to exact his revenge on Batman. During their fight, Damian actually gets the better of Batman, but one of them gets away somehow (you can make something up, it really doesn't matter how). If you want, you could have Batman recruit Azrael to help him fight the Court. This plot ends with Batman fighting Damian again, but, with the help of the Bat Family (who arrive to the fight), he beats Damian. Emphasis on Batman's age here, as he can't keep up with Damian. Together, the Bat Family take down the Court and Hush, locking them up for good (however, some members of the court manage to get away). Batman explains everything to Damian, and Damian absolves his beef with him. Batman makes Damian the new leader of the League of Assassins. Damian can carry on his mother's legacy while also paying tribute to his father. Ra's Al Ghul's wish did come true, kind of, as instead of Batman and Talia leading the League, it is their son, Damian. At the very end, Batman is forced to reveal his identity to the world and tell of what happened to clear his name. Because of this, Bruce is forced to retire as Batman (as mentioned earlier, Batman is getting pretty old, so if you don't think him revealing his identity should force his retirement, his age could also. It'd better for him to retire while he's on top, in my opinion). For where to go in the future, there are a lot of options:
Like the Knightfall ending, you'd be rewinded to before his retirement so you could free roam and finish up the side missions as Batman. Speaking of side missions, here are my ideas:
Now for a bunch of non-story stuff:
Welp, that's my pitch. I don't expect a lot of people to see this, but I just wanted to get it out there on reddit.com. If you have any things about this you'd like to ask me about, feel free to leave a comment and I'll respond as soon as I can. Thanks for reading all of this! [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 May 2020 11:38 AM PDT i personally think that the e3 demo for arkham origins was better than the final product, it just had so many small things that if they were in the main game, then it would've been a more fun experience [link] [comments] |
