Would anyone want to see a Batman beyond game in Arkham series ?

    Posted: 30 Dec 2020 10:49 AM PST

I have been thinking about a Batman beyond game ever since Arkham city and with the release of the spider-man games with their open world gameplay I think that a Batman beyond game could really be interesting. I would love to see a fully living city like in Spider-Man with a bunch of civilian activity going on. The only difference is we would be going out through the city at night and during the day have little missions or cutscenes to see the life of terry. It would give opportunities for us to connect with the human side of the new Batman and give us perspective like how they did with Peter or Miles in spider-man. I do want to preface I don't want a world where they give us a reason on why the city is evacuated and only criminals are left. I think the Arkham games would benefit from a true open world scenario and Batman beyond would be perfect for this. Batman's ability to use his rocket boots and fly around the city while having random crimes popping up, having gang hideouts you can shutdown as you progress through the story, which in turn could lead us to information on super criminals at the top of each crime syndicate while also having some super criminals be part of the main story. Also I think the interaction between an old Bruce giving us advice on how to handle situations as the new Batman would be so much fun and awesome to see and hear. However I do think the game should be with in the first two years of Terry's career of being Batman which would give those daylight missions or missions with terry be more meaningful to see how terry is coping with becoming Batman and handling it in his everyday life with interactions with his friends and family in those missions.

As far as villains I would love to see villains from the animated series of Batman beyond. Such as:

    -ink -Derrick Powers
-The Royal Flush Gang -Cobra -Shriek -Spellbinder And if there's anyone else you guys would want let me know

Also if there's any other gameplay stuff you guys would like to see what would it be ? Would you guys even want a batman beyond game ?

How do you think mobility will be handled in Gotham Knights?

    Posted: 30 Dec 2020 06:08 PM PST

This is mainly a question about Red Hood and Nightwing as they don't have capes or any obvious other modes of moving around. Batgirl has her cape and Robin has his teleportation and I'd assume they all have a vehicle but this is mainly a question for stealth and combat. Do you think a mode of getting around like that will be included for these characters?
