MobileWallpaper for this amazing shot that was posted a few days ago. Extended the sky, color corrected, and reframed for phone wallpapers. OG image is low-res, which I can't do anything about.

    Rewriting Arkham Knight Sidemissions

    Posted: 14 Oct 2020 06:24 PM PDT

A lot of the side missions for Arkham Knight I loved, but some of them (not naming any names here..) are either disappointing or bad. So I'm going to be naming all of them and fixing some parts.

    1. The Perfect Crime - This mission really needs no fixing, it's just the hush mission from arkham city but it has a fight at the end, a better boss fight I guess?
    2. Riddler's Revenge - Riddle's are fairly simple and have a really good amount, boss fight is pretty good with the Catwoman and Batman gimmick, and it feels good as hell to beat the shit out of him after taunting you throughout the game.
    3. Occupy Gotham - This mission is really mixed for me, you can keep it because it's really just fighting militia but on the other hand it's kind of boring.
    4. Armored and Dangerous - This is the first side mission I want to be replaced. The synopsis for the mission that I had in mind is basically people are being framed for murders that they didn't commit. This will be kind of like Hush expect you get to use batman's detective skills to recreate the crime scene. After a few missions it's revealed that the person behind these crimes was ClayFace. I want it to be ClayFace because if he really did die in Arkham City that definitely breaks Batman's no killing rule. Possible name could be "Mistaken Identity"
    5. Own the Roads - This is going to be replaced by a part 1 for the amazing bossfight himself, Deathstroke. One of the assassins from Arkham Origins (probably either copperhead or lady shiva) is doing some very weird tasks around Gotham. Batman investigates and after finding the assassin, he battles them. After the fight batman interrogates them to find out that they were hired by Deathstroke so he can learn about Batman's tech.
    6. Creature of the Night - This mission is pretty good but at the end I want this gliding bossfight. Basically you're gliding around and chasing the Man-Bat, testing your gliding skills, and he'll attack you occasionally. You attack him using quickfire gadgets like the explosive gel and batarang to slow him down. After that it goes back to the normal ending.
    7. Gotham on Fire - This mission is just decent, you could do all of the batmobile chases which is pretty fun the first time and at the final burning burning you fight him. The bossfight could go something like origins but idk
    8. Gunrunner - This is a pretty good mission.
    9. Heir to the Cowl - Also a pretty good mission
    10. Two-Faced Bandit - Only thing I'd fix is the Two-Face boss fight. You could either make a new one or use the one from Arkham City.
    11. Friend in Need - god this mission is just terrible. seriously like i know new people made the story but they could've atleast excluded it instead of making this. the only way this mission is redeemable is by removing it and adding Hush to the story as a side villian, kinda like Arkham Knight.
    12. Campaign for Disarmament - This is part 2 for the Deathstroke mission (obviously this is unlocked after you do the first one.) You track Slade to an abandoned warehouse and you guys do battle. The battle is basically going to be the same from origins expect with a few changes. I'd like Deathstroke to be able to use similar tech as you including the Batclaw and Deathstroke's own version of the Batarangs. Another feature that I'd like would be Deathstroke using his sword and bo staff. Basically the sword is an offensive weapon that he uses to hit you multiple times and is very hard to counter. If you do counter it however it does more damage then when you counter him while he's holding the bo staff. The bo staff is more of a defensive weapon that he attacks with occasionally. The Deathstroke batarangs gives slight damage and a little bit of stun, just like the normal batarangs, this is where Deathstroke attacks. A possible name for this could be "Assassin's Rematch"
    13. Lamb to the Slaughter - This one I really have no idea how I'd change. Deacon Blackfire is a villian that I've never read about in the comics and really have no idea how to change. If you have any ideas leave them in the comments.
    14. The Line of Duty - This mission is basic just like Occupy Gotham expect the ending is sweet to me with the fire chief and all. I'd keep the mission just for the ending and the beat em up style (since we're replacing occupy gotham in this scenario)

I hope you enjoyed this and leave any suggestions in the comments for any of these
