When you get to the Lazarus source during the Shadow War DLC side mission a little snippet of the Wonder City Explore suite is played for a second. It’s one of my favorite tracks from Arkham City, for some reason it’s not on the OST, and I was so happy to hear it in Arkham Knight. Love Rocksteady.
Now that I’ve completed Arkham asylum to origins, and recently 250% on Arkham knight, I’ll shall now go into hibernation until the next game. For now...��

I was playing Batman Arkham Knight with the 1960's Batman series Skin and my favorite Batmobile, and I ended up making this photo. I tried to make this Batman look Cool.

Founder's Island is kinda sad

I have started playing Arkham Knight and the map is pretty cool. Founder's Island though really struck me. When I first saw it I thought it looked really cool, but when I started to explore it I saw how terrible it really is. All these fancy buildings and construction sites are destroying so much beautiful architecture and history. My first hint of it was seeing Cobblepot manor and hearing the audio clip of him complaining about the developments, but as I explored more and saw where buildings are being destroyed and the absolutely gorgeous locations like the Killinger department store under the main street level it really started to sink in. On that same lower level it fully hit me when I saw a protest sign reading "save our homes"

Gotham development is a cancerous beast and even Batman himself is complicit. Wayne Plaza is a grand example of everything wrong with Founder's Island. I guess I can't be too surprised at the city though considering they walled off a big chunk of it to turn it into a giant prison. And now that I think about that a bit more Arkham City is kinda fucked too. They walled off a bad ass museum, the Solomon Wayne Courthouse, an amusement park (the Newton fairgrounds in Knight is despicable) and several historic locations.

The city just seems intent on destroying everything that makes Gotham unique. Batman should turn away from the thugs and freaks for a bit to take on the real villains in the real estate industry.
