Would you enjoy a massive, futuristic neo-noir cyberpunk Gotham in 2040s, with Terry McGinnis as Batman and the Bat family, let's say in their 40s? Court of Owls obviously still the main villain, but with a dystopian twist, let's say they've already won and are behind everything, even Wayne Enterprises who owns and controls the entirety of Gotham, think also Owl cyber-masks, cyber-enhanced talons etc, plus iconic Batman Beyond & some Classic Batman villains (some aged) involved.
Would you be excited for a Batman Beyond game (not necessarily what i described above, just WBG Montreal's game being a Batman Beyond game), or do you absolutely expect a Classic Batman game from WBG Montreal, with a classically modernised version of Gotham, classic Court of Owls & villains, etc ? | Next Batman game wishlist and big gameplay change Posted: 23 May 2020 04:49 AM PDT -Day & Night cycle -Populated Gotham(has to have restrictions due to maneuvering the batmobile, so you can't run over civilians -Playing as Bruce Wayne much like telltale's, have dialog options that are consistent with his character -Batcave -Fully customizable Batsuit. Let me explain how it works, the default bat suit of the game can be fully customized with parts you can unlock, those not only have a visual cosmetic effect but they also have an effect on your batman build, for instance, you can get better pads to increase resistance against firearms thus making it a more armored suit like AK but that will make you slower You can have a predator stealth suit where you equipped a part that enables fear takedowns but restrict free flow focus in combat You can make vastly different builds which increase replayability, you can save your custom Batsuits and carry an extra one on the batmobile(which can be increased via upgrade) you can basically make the BvS "anti Superman" suit if you want, which may make you very slow and vulnerable to rockets but you can basically one hit down enemies If you equip an alternate suit such as the TDK one, 60's batman etc, the effects stay but the parts have no cosmetic effect on those Some enemies will study the type of batsuit you're using, and they'll adapt their gear accordingly to counter you, which forces the player to always rethink their strategy so they cant find a god like build and stick to it through the entire game After you beat the game, you can play new game plus with every single positive effect at once to give that super overpowered effect, NG+ also includes new enemy types not seen before -You have to go back to the Batcave to upgrade your gear/change suits -The batmobile much like the batsuit also has different builds based on different parts, you can make it more tankey, or more muscle car oriented like Pattinsons, one of the parts you unlock is to do the tumbler like eject of the batcycle from it [link] [comments] | ||
| Is Aaron Cash the new Commissioner of the GCPD after Arkham Knight? Posted: 23 May 2020 07:08 AM PDT This is sort of a spoiler post, as it does go into what happens at the end of Arkham Knight as well as a few going into spoilers about Arkham Origins, Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Knight. This was interesting to make, as I learned more about Aaron through this theory or question. At the end of Arkham Knight, Commissioner James Worthington Gordon of the GCPD has become mayor of Gotham City. This is mentioned in one of the batgirl comics showing that his bid for mayor has been going on for multiple years, this is shown at the end of Arkham Knight and mentioned in GCPD Lock Down. He finally became the Mayor, but this actually leaves the job of Commissioner open in the GCPD. Aaron Cash is a character in the Arkhamverse. He has appeared in Arkham Origins, Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and in Arkham Knight. His appearance in Arkham Origins and Arkham City being a small one. One of his main appearances is his hook, which he had gotten from an incident with Killer Croc in Arkham Asylum. In Arkham Origins, he is a GCPD officer who made an appearance through a photo but not a full fledge appearance. However, an event occured between Arkham Origins and Arkham Asylum where he was introduced to Batman by Captain Jim Gordon. Eventually, being assigned a case on the Order of St. Dumas. They encountered Azrael, but this incident led to the resignation of his partner at the time. During this transition, he left the GCPD to work as an Security Guard at the new Arkham Asylum. In Arkham City, he made an appearance as a Security Guard. His voice can be heard, when they are scanning Joker for weapons. After, Joker broke out of his chains and tried to take over the island. He would make his way to the medical facility where encountered Jokers henchmen and was trapped. This is where he saved a doctor, but were nearly gassed as they hid in a Control Room. He then guided Doctor Penelope Young with another guard to a safe area to be ambushed by Joker henchmen. She ran, but got held hostage by Victor Zsasz. Aaron Cash would then be held hostage but saved by Batman, as he would then trapped in Arkham Mansion by Poison Ivy. In Arkham City, he became a guard for a medical group in Arkham City. An area cornered off for the rest of Gotham to be soon eliminated by commencing protocal 10. Cash would guard them, while trying to do something about a certain bandaged hostage who would be holding onto a box. Later, disappearing as the group was held hostage by Harley Quinn and her goons. Batman came into save the medical team, as Batman proceeded to the top of the church for it to be blown up by the Joker. Eventually, they would be kidnapped by Riddler. The last kidnapped Riddler victim was Aaron Cash, who got to torture Riddler after Batman stopped him. He would take Riddler and Mayor Sharp to the church, but got chased by a large group of inmates who called on Bane to help with the situation. They lied about the titan, but then Azrael came to the defence of the Medical Team and was nearly killed until Aaron Cash came to his defence hurting Bane. Allowing for Azrael to get the upper hand, as he was then eliminated. Eventually, Azrael revealed himself to Aaron in the form of a nickname his previous partner has given him. "Rookie." There is a small event in the Aftermath of Arkham City. Gordon is dosed with Joker Toxin and Aaron Cash carried Gordon to a Joker hideout, where Batman found the antidote but ran into Killer Croc. Batman was nearly defeated until Aaron jumped in causing Batman to get the upperhand on the fight. Finally, we are at the end of the road with Arkham Knight. The conclusion to Rocksteadys Arkham Trilogy. This is where you can see Aaron take command of the GCPD Precinct in this part of Gotham City. The part cornered off and evacuated because of the looming threat Scarecrow and the Militia Forces employed by the Arkham Knight. Aaron Cash was employed to look over the Maximum Security Cells. Gordon went missing and took over, as he recorded files for evidence lockup as Batman took down more and more of his rogues. Eventually, he came into contact with Croc again where he emphasized with the creature that tore his arm off. This leads into the Arkham Episodes. In Catwoman's Revenge, Aaron Cash was supervising the Riddler as he was calling his robots to break him out. Eventually, his computer exploded causing Aaron to taze him. In GCPD Lockdown, Aaron Cash is present in the scene that Oswald Copplebot is brought back in. He offers Nightwing to change the old Batsymbol to a Nightwing symbol. According to the fandom wiki, he is acting as the Police Commisioner but is he? There is no proof or evidence to say so, but as Jim Gordon is Mayor. This is a bit most likely, but I do want to know your thoughts on whether someone else took over other than Cash. This entire post was detailing everything Cash had done then adding up to whether he is the Commissioner leaving it on a sort of open ending. Like what is in the box that Selina Kyle leaves to save Batman? He would be a suitable replacement. [link] [comments] | ||
