Arkham City’s Story has a few problems

    Posted: 24 May 2020 06:50 PM PDT

I love Arkham City but every time I play it I can't help but notice these issues (btw if you have explanations for any of these, please share)

At the start Batman says "if there's one person in Arkham city who knows what's really going on it's her (Catwoman)" That doesn't make any sense- why would she know anything? She's just a thief she has no access to any important information and has no connection to Strange.

Then Batman suspects Joker is behind Protocol 10 which also doesn't make sense- why would he be working with Strange all Jokers has done since Batman got to Arkham city was try to kill Catwoman and blew up a church pretty joker of him and not really out of the ordinary

Protocol 10 and Hugo Strange from the start are made out to be the the main focus and threat but that's in the background most of the game and once we do get to finally confront Strange and we get the Ra's al Ghul twist it just all resolves in a cutscene- no extra gameplay, no boss battle and then the focus of the story goes right back to Joker

Also WHY DIDN'T JOKER TAKE THE CURE??? After Harley took it, it was obviously in Joker's possession but he didn't take it. Joker just pretended that he was cured. Why? And why did he give it to clay face in the theater? Joker's death could have been avoided

All of it could have been avoided if Freeze didn't destroy the first cure, he could have just asked Batman to save Nora, the guy JUST said he's a man of his word and at the end of the fight he lets Batman go anyway so what gives?

And the biggest problem of all...

HOW THE HELL DID HUSH JUST WALK OUT OF ARKHAM CITY???

    The #RevealTheGameWB hashtag

    Posted: 24 May 2020 08:07 PM PDT

I made a post earlier this month called "RevealTheGameWB" after they took notice of the hashtag on Twitter and told us to "stay tuned." I was pretty happy they acknowledged us!

But I actually made that post in response to the people "joking" that this community was becoming the "new #ReleaseTheSnyderCut."

Well, WB responded to #RevealTheGame and the Snyder Cut is coming in 2021!!!

I guess Twitter hashtags and the passion of fans do make a difference.

Anyway, catch Zack Snyder's Justice League in 2021 only on HBO Max!

The Batman Eternal arc would make an awesome Arkham game

    Posted: 24 May 2020 09:59 AM PDT

For those who aren't aware, Batman Eternal was a comic arc that ran from April 2014-April 2015 stretching 52 issues. It uses several POV characters In the bat family (which I think would be a great way to have more PC's like we keep asking for), has the Arkham 3 act structure, and the twist ending villain we've come to expect.

Basic plot line is that villains long dormant from Batman's past all resurface one after the other with a villain summoning them via invitation to see the fall of Jim Gorden, each time Batman thinks he's found the one in charge he finds that they too only received an invitation until the climax where, broken and beaten the true master mind reveals themselves only to be betrayed by their master (I know, a lot like AC ending but it works even better in this context).

Villains/events include: Gang war between returning Falcone and Penguin that serves as the major conflict of Act 1. A blitz of Pink Flamingo, the architect, Dr Falsario (a discount mad hatter), Hush, Croc, Deacon Blackfire and Jokers daughter. Amazing thing about this is that most of these villains haven't been used or if they have their are large gaps before AA and are still available to use after AK so from this stand point the game could be set in either place. Also, joker is nowhere to be seen in all of this, something that might come as a relief to many fans.

Side stories include Globe trotting to Brazil with Batgirll and Redhood, a side story with Red Robin that can be used to incorporate Bluebird into the universe, an all out HORROR story that takes place with Batwing under Arkham Asylum, and Cat woman navigating the criminal underworld, eventually building her own empire. This is where placement would get a little tricky, to have red hood present it would need to be after AK but by that point in the time line Barbara is no longer Batgirl. Batgirl is the emotional center of the story so I think you could ax redhood if needed but it's comics, so I'm sure the writers could come up with a retcon to her being Batwoman again.

Core theme: the book derives it's name from a major question and theme in the book: "is Batman Eternal?" Is it a mythos and mantel that will live on past Bruce or is does it end when he does. I think this would be an awesome thing to explore, especially post AK.

Possible DLC: there's a short side comic where Bruce Wayne disguises himself and infiltrates Arkham to find out who's commuting a string of murders. It's a lot of fun but not necessary story.

I'd love to talk more about this with yall and ideas or CONS of doing this

Oh and it could be called Arkham: Eternal cause that just rolls off the tongue and sounds nice

Is the Arkham Knught season pass worth it?

    Posted: 24 May 2020 03:36 PM PDT

I already have the base game with some free DLC, but never had opportunity to play. Now with my vacations I'll start it. I saw the DLC is on sale on PSN? Does it worth?

I don't know if it is the lowest price and if the content is ok... Btw, can you play with others chars for the entire game or only Batman?

    Tks
