My Ranking and Ratings of the Series (IMO)

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 08:33 PM PST

    1. Arkham City (10/10): All around the most complete and well rounded game in the franchise. From the story, gameplay improvements, tight open world/exploration, and clever boss fights. What else can be said about this game lmao
    2. Arkham Knight (9.3/10): A true experience of high highs and low lows. The lows are commonly stated such as lack of true boss fights, too much tank (really Deathstroke?), and a few story plot holes here or there. However, this game was the first game I picked up along with the Witcher 3 that actually felt like a "Next Gen Experience" on new consoles. The hand to hand combat is excellent and challenging due to all the new added types of enemies and the addition of fighting with some of the Bat-Family. The Batmobile while overused has some crazy technology behind it, especially summoning it wherever the hell you are. The AI on harder difficulties from my experience are smart as hell specifically in the predator sections. While a few side quest missed the mark like Hush there were so many more that impressed me like Man Bat, Ra's Al Ghul, Azrael, and Professor Pig (just wtf). Arkham Knight himself was a mixed bag but Scarecrows performance was excellent. I also loved the Joker appearances and seeing Bruce go almost batshit crazy. Knight is a game that was ambitious with the most potential but maybe a bit too ambitious in some aspects.
    3. Arkham Asylum (9/10): The game that started it all. A great experience especially for the devs first time making a game like this. I love the linearity and how creepy Asylum is. The game has aged well compared to other games from 2009. Biggest flaw is obviously that Joker fight at the end, I have no idea wtf they were thinking there. After a playing other games in the series it does start to show its age a bit. A legendary and influential game that I wouldn't mind getting a full remake ala Resident Evil 2/3 a few years from now.
    4. Arkham Origins (8/10): I like to think of this game as the Fallout New Vegas of the Series. Considering they made this game in less than two years like New Vegas yet added so much is nothing to look over. A very solid game. Tight story, great boss fights, great side missions, improved detective skills that Arkham Knight borrowed. I was not a huge fan of the new map as I felt it didn't flow as well as City, and the multiplayer was not for me. Most series wish their "worst" game was this good. For WB Montreal first crack at Batman and given less than 2 years this was a very solid outing leading me to believe the IP is in good hands.

TDLR: City, Knight, Asylum, Origins. We have been truly spoiled, not a single bad game made, one of the most consistent game franchises out there.

I gathered up all of the things in a predator map to see how long I'll last as a challenge.... let's just say, it was over too fast.

Custom Arkham Lego sets (update #1)

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 07:36 PM PST

So I did end up finishing all the custom Aslyum sets a few days ago (still working on the imgur album) but still am working on designing the figures in both the digital renders as well as IRL... but i do have some questions for you all here in the subreddit...

For the Asylum figures what Lego pieces would you guys recommend I use for the different figures?

I currently got the basic designs for the central characters and am currently working on the henchmen and such for both Aslyum and City.
