If WB Montreal did end up doing a sequel to Origins, what would you like to be included?

What kind of glitch is this. I was just playing through City, and go to the top of the tower, no actual top, though.

    How did GCPD reform themselves?

    Posted: 08 Jan 2020 11:13 PM PST

In Arkham Origins, Batman said the police force was heavily corrupted. Commissioner Loeb had ties with crime bosses such as Black Mask and Falcone, while Branden and his SWATs wanted to kill Batman in order to get the bounty from Black Mask. Unlike Gordon, he wanted to arrest Batman instead of killing him. Based on some dialogues when infiltrating the GCPD, some police also wanted to get rid of Gordon by starting a prison riot inside the building.

Did Gordon know or acknowledge that the police force wasn't clean? He and Barbara argued that he believed Batman wasn't a good guy since he worked completely outside the system, while Barbara believed the system was broken. He told Batman that the GCPD worked with the law and also had respects from Gotham.

I don't know what had happened during the timeline between Origins and Asylum. Did Batman fight against corruption in Gotham between Origin and Asylum era? Such as cracking down corrupted police officers?

In Arkham Asylum, there's not much appearance for the GCPD except the ending. Frank Boles took the bribe, while all Arkham guards hated him due to his alcoholism, bad temper and gambling behavior.

In Arkham Knight, the police force was so much better than the ones in Origin timeline. Although some still took the bribe, like Officer JT Wicker who worked as Riddler's informant, the police who were sent by Gordon to ACE Chemicals.. they were either bribed or dead.

Just got this set in the mail. Easily the best figures are Knight and Origins. They have full articulation. The other 2 are nice, but no where near the same level as AO and AK. They do make a great set though.

Possible morse code in WB MONTREALS Batman Celebration.

    Posted: 08 Jan 2020 10:08 AM PST

If you reverse the audio of the "80th Batman Celebration" and count the steps as "Light Steps" and "Hard Steps",

    you have the word "BAT".

Is this just coincidence or maybe a hidden morse code?

Collectibles/Riddler stuff - now or later?

    Posted: 08 Jan 2020 08:10 PM PST

I just started Origins, and my OCD wants me to collect all the Enigma stuff in every region as soon as it becomes available.

Is this possible to do early in the game? Or do most of the puzzles require tools that don't become available until later?

    Your favorite version of Batman?

    Posted: 08 Jan 2020 08:04 PM PST

So I know most of us are pretty biased here so I'm going to ask for your top three. Who do you think are the three most powerful, effective, impressive versions of Batman? Excluding Batman with special or super powers like when Batman had any of the lantern rings or when he briefly had kryptonian powers.

IMO it would be- Arkhamverse Batman, Dark Knight Returns Batman and third place would be a tie between Batfleck and Animated Series Batman.

Arkhamverse Batman seems to be the one who faces the most danger consistently as there are always nights where he faces off against several villains (similar to Knightfall minus getting his back broken). In fact his being able to survive a Knightfall-like scenario in only his second year (Origins) AND defeat Bane without getting his back broken is the most impressive.

Next up is Dark Knight Returns Batman whom is impressive for beating the snot out of Superman when he's already old and past his prime. I give similar respect to Batfleck for similarly giving Superman a beat down and displaying similar combat ability to Arkhamverse Batman when he rescued Martha Kent.

But of course I can't forget Animated Series Batman either who not only punked Superman with a tiny shard of kryptonite, immediately showed him he knew his identity (after Superman peaked under his mask) but also seemingly banged Lois Lane! Not only that he escaped having his identity exposed (something Arkhamverse Batman didn't have a plan ready for) by Hugo Strange by having Dick step in as Batman while he was giving a press conference as Bruce Wayne.

How Arkham games are connected to each other

    Posted: 08 Jan 2020 11:16 AM PST

I can't believe there hasn't been a discussion about this already or maybe there is and I don't know yet but anyway...

So the thing is I just can't believe how perfectly the games are connected to each other.

In Arkham Asylum Joker makes a Titan Formula and uses it to get himself as strong as Bane to humiliate Batman but it didn't work out as he planned obviously and he went back to his normal form (Well there's nothing normal about the Joker but you get the idea)

In Arkham City Joker was revealed to be terribly sick because of the side effects of the Titan he injected himself with and he's going to die progressively. He needed a cure so bad he got Batman to do it for him by injecting Batman and some patients in hospitals of Gotham with his own blood. That's when Joker hallucinations started to kick in. This is the root of all Joker hallucinations in Arkham VR and Arkham Knight. You remember the fight with Mr. Freeze? Of course you do. It was one of the most epic boss fights in gaming history. Anyway when you got Mr. Freeze's health all the way down to zero Batman starts to ground and pound. Then you could see Joker inside of Freeze's suit laughing. Crazy, right? It seems like the more time passes, the stronger the hallucination gets.

I don't think I need to explain how the next games are connected to each other.

Arkham VR is simply Batman having a nightmare of becoming the Joker himself

and Arkham Knight is Joker's hallucination taking control over Batman mentally with a little help of Scarecrow's fear toxin and maybe physically too If it succeeded. This kinda reminds me of Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker where Joker turned Tim Drake into the new Joker so Tim would continue his legacy when he's gone and he actually did it but it didn't last long.

The whole point of this is it's just crazy how Rocksteady had been planning this all along since 2009 when the first Arkham game released till 2015 when the final one did. Feel free to share your thoughts.
