    Unpopular Opinion?

I absolutely love Knight's side missions. There's so many that, for me at least, it feels like there's more to the post game than just Riddler. which isn't really the case for the other Arkham games.

I see a common complaint is the Militia stuff, which yeah, it isn't the greatest. But I don't think they're that terrible. you can really see their presence in the city. red lights and flying drones all over the city. but when you're taking them out, you can really see their power dwindle. you can see them slowly losing power, which i think is really cool. Plus i find taking out watchtowers/checkpoints to be pretty fun. and although the Deathstroke fight was bad, at least it led to something. at least there was a boss fight

My least favorite though has to be the firefighter mission. it's way too long for what it is. I'm fine with the more low stakes missions. imo i think it really conveys how Batman really juggles everything, including something as basic as finding missing firefighters. if it was just finding 5 of them or something I'd be fine with it. but it lasts for so long.

Another thing although it doesn't really directly relate to side missions, is the GCPD. my god is it amazing. from the holding cells, which shows you're progress in the main story/various side missions. to seeing all of the villains in the cell. to the evidence locker. it's such a good way of showing progress. I really hope something similar returns in the next game.

Riddler: i'm still not entirely sure how I feel about his appearance in Knight. On one hand, finding the trophies here felt less annoying than other games. on the other, racetracks, and the other underground puzzle areas involving the batmobile, suck. they're just not fun. the puzzle rooms with Catwoman were pretty cool though. and the Catwoman kiss is a pogchamp.

Sure, there's the Hush mission. but that's one, really quick mission. it's bad, but there are so many others that make you do more, and have more staying power, that it really doesn't stain anything other than Hush's character. it didn't ruin my experience, is what i'm saying.

But Professor Pyg and Man-Bat are real highlights though. really like the creepy factor they give.

And I don't think I need to go into detail as to why Season of Infamy is awesome.

honestly, i think Arkham Knight might have the best post game out of the whole series. Thank you if you got this far into this long post.

Does no one else want to explore that part of the city? Behind him? It's the main thing I want out of the new game and no one else seems to talk about. I want to glide through HUGE buildings. In city it makes sense its smaller, but in origins and knight i never felt like i was in main part of Gotham

Glad to see Tuesdays are still the holy day for content drops in AK (E2DK skin out next Tuesday for PS4).

The joker once he appears in the next Arkham Game as the main villain again:

But yo can we talk about the Origin’s Martial Artists for a second?

    Posted: 24 Jan 2020 05:03 PM PST

Real talk those were some fun enemies that they made, and I hate that they were left behind for Knight. They could've taken it a step further and made it so if you used the weapon disarm and destroy combo on a ninja, you would break their sword and they would turn into a martial artist. That would've been 200IQ energy.

    WB's upcoming investors call

    Posted: 24 Jan 2020 07:02 PM PST

AT&T/WB is having an investor call on January 29th. I thought I'd bring this up because in 2013, during their investors call, WB announced that a new Arkham game(AO), would be coming that year with their other game releases.

So they could do that again this year.

    Well.... it's still January

    Why they should've ported origins!!

    Posted: 25 Jan 2020 02:56 AM PST

Instead of this drip feed nonsense what's gone on so long that must people are just stressed with the constant hope and let down on waiting for confirmation even though its blatant

    They could of ported origins

For half the price and included a hidden room whats hinted at what leads of to the next game And gives clues what leads out onto the internet

Instead look heres a picture what we all kinda know who's going to be in it

    What do you guys think?

    Noticed an Easter Egg

    Posted: 24 Jan 2020 06:38 PM PST

When you're talking to Gordon in the bridge, he's on a radio, that radio has a T on it like the ones used by the Tiger Guards from Arkham City. Who else noticed that?

Who’s a villain that hasn’t appeared in the Arkham games that you want to see in the new one?

    Posted: 24 Jan 2020 03:13 PM PST

In order for them to count they must not have appeared physically in any of the other games. (It's fine if they were referenced)

One of the main things I want from the next Batman game is to move away from this side mission structure:

    Posted: 25 Jan 2020 02:47 AM PST

-Go and find this somewhere in the city

    -Scan it

    -Repeat this process 3-6 times

-Go here for the actual substantial content which concludes the side mission

Azrael 2x, pyg, ac hush, ac deadshot etc have all been the exact same. Think of side missions more like witcher 3 and less like... Previous arkham games

Even if that means less side missions I would love to have fleshed out stories with bigger length and meaningful/replayable content, going around the city to find something to scan and then having to repeat that 3-6 times is not fun nor replayable and has been overdone to death
