    Imagine if the new game isn't an Arkham game but an entirely new story set in a different universe. We get the Bruce Wayne Batman back, better character designs (both heroes and villains) that don't look like they took steroids while rolling around in sewers, a Gotham City with more colour, chances to use characters in a different way.

    Edit: As someone else also mentioned, this would give WB Montreal so much more freedom. Otherwise they'd be tied down in Rocksteady's story.

    Some people seem to think that Rocksteady has something against Arkham Origins. But that's false.

    Rocksteady taught WB Montreal how to use Unreal Engine 3, they gave them their own code for AO and then they mentioned Arkham Origins a ton in Arkham Knight.

    So no Rocksteady does not have anything against Arkham Origins. WB is the one ignoring it.
