    Ok... maybe this is kind of obvious, but I never really gave proper thought to AK ending, I recently finished at 100% (Yeah, after all these years) and it always bothered me that Bruce was so easily unmasked, I mean, yeah, he trusted Jason, but he had Nightwing or Kate, I know Bruce isn't a big fan of asking for help, but he does if it'a necessary (The Banana Muffin Superman example), also, come on, he's a master of escape, he escaped from worse than some straps. But,maybe, just maybe, he wanted to be unmasked, he told Catwoman that Gotham needed something even more powerful, something to rise from the ashes from The Batman, he even said his goodbyes to Dick... when you do the Knightfall protocol, you can see Bruce using Scarecrow's toxin and a more brutal Batman (Like Scarecrow said, "They're more afraid of the Broken Bones than the man that brakes them"... something like that, I don't quite remember...) what I mean, maybe Bruce saw this opportunity and allowed Scarecrow to "win", so he could come out as a scarier and powerful version of Batman and could dedicate 100% of his time to being Batman
