Arkham Knight has the best story simply because of how emotionally charged and personal it gets.

    Posted: 13 Apr 2021 09:58 PM PDT

I'm probably going to get a lot of downvotes for this but screw it, Arkham Knight has the best story. And no it's not because of Jason Todd, or poison ivy, or any of that. It's because of how personal it gets with Batman or should I say Bruce Wayne. We definitely see a deeper chemistry that he has with the characters in this game compared to the others. A much deeper chemistry between him and Selina/cat woman to the point where they're definitely a better pair than Bruce and talia, a deeper chemistry between him and robin and night wing where he trusts robin but still critiques him to show how he can improve. He also shows a history with Jason where he sees him as the son he should've Protected before being captured by joker and his friendships with oracle and commissioner Gordon showing how much he worries about them. It's also very fitting that we learn about Batman's greatest fears and insecurities in a game with scarecrow as the villain. Though the most emotional part is knightfall protocol where we have to say goodbye to not only Batman but Bruce Wayne. In the section where Batman removes his utility belt to go into the van to Arkham asylum, scarecrow is basically saying that Batman will listen to everything scarecrow says because he's scared. The whole point behind Arkham Knight is that fear can make you a different person. Jason's fear of being left behind by Batman made him the Arkham Knight, Gordon's fear of losing his daughter caused him to distrust Batman, and Batman's fear of becoming joker caused him to gradually lose his sanity. All in all, the part of Jason Todd being the Arkham Knight might not be great but this is a great story based around how fear changes people.

Batman - I Want To Live

    Posted: 13 Apr 2021 10:44 PM PDT

Did you have Play all the Batman Arkham Games?

    Posted: 13 Apr 2021 10:30 PM PDT

Who played all? I have only played Batman Arkham Origins & Arkham Knight. There are awesome. Its storyline was very interesting to me. Also, I have played many Batman Mini-Games. Actually, they were very nice. I think you should try those mini games, if you already haven't. Anyway, Arkham series give us the Epic experience of Batman.

But, still I am waiting for a fantastic Batman Live-Action.

    Tim Drake discussion

    Posted: 13 Apr 2021 05:48 PM PDT

What were your thoughts on Tim in the arkham games? I personally didn't like this version because it felt like the new 52 Tim. I didn't mind bald tim because the alternate skins were much better anyway imo.

    Arkham Knight

    Posted: 13 Apr 2021 09:57 PM PDT

I'm replaying the Arkham games and now just arriving at Arkham Knight. It's scary and interesting to see this amazing, iron willed, strong hero be so relentless in what he does as a hero but to see him break/crack piece by piece when the joker, his arch nemesis a person who has caused chaos and despair to this hero and Gotham city that when he dies Batman falls apart, he shows his fears, he blames himself and for this game to show that, to represent that in a man like this is beautiful, scary and moving at the same time as you progress through this amazingly written story from the people at rocksteady. I'm blown away at the fact that a video game about Batman showing his flaws has moved me this much

Reminder: Criticizing Arkham Origins for innovating is the stupidest criticism ever.

    Posted: 14 Apr 2021 03:39 AM PDT

You can't criticize a piece of art (yes, video games are art) by comparing it to other works in the same franchise/series, you have to look at it and criticize it based on its own merits and faults. Oh and you also can't criticize it based on the commercial advertisement/marketing, because

    1. The actual creators of the game aren't responsible for that.
    2. It's not a part of the artistic work itself, which again, you have to criticize separately from everything else.

Or you can criticize it however you want, it's just that most common criticisms levied against Origins are dumb af. That would be all

Batman Arkham Origins Combat is problematic......

    Posted: 13 Apr 2021 11:00 AM PDT

So i was playing Arkham Origins the other day , yes arkham origins the game which almost no one talks about here and was also recieved poorly despite being such a good game. I love the game and i don't think its a bad game in any major way.

But....there are some problems that i wish were addressed at the time of the release back in 2014.....the one i wish was fixed or atleast altered a little bit is the combat mechanisms. The game did nothing new in the combat that changed it as a whole but it did made it a lot more fun and challenging.....but at a price. Enemies hit you even when you're not in their range and sometimes successfully attack you even tho you attacked first. They are fast which is better than unrealistically slow enemies in the first two games but they are just.....too fast , you don't even get the chance to react and boom , some asshole broke your combo x100 in a second

. Enemies are also not balanced out at all , i remember that there is actually a system that prevents too many enemies to attack at once , seems like its almost non- existent here they all come charging in like animals and also stand up too fast so you can't really do a takedown in this game most of the times. You stop fighting one guy for a second and he gets mad about it and instantly picks up a fucking knife and the worst..... A shield......oh god those guys with the shields are bane of my existence.

Those ninja ladies are so annoying , you try to hit them and they go POOF MUTHAFUCKA I TELEPORTED! , There is almost no time to counter in this game.

All of this actually makes the combat fun sometimes but other times its just frustrating and I don't feel like batman :(
