Batman Arkham I made a concerted effort to make sure that when Riddler arrived at the GCPD in my Newgame+ playthrough, he would be the VERY FIRST VILLAIN THERE, so that he knows that he is not only inferior to the Batman, but also to EVERY OTHER VILLAIN IN GOTHAM! Revenge for the 243 (I think) Riddles.

is riddler/enigma in the wrong in orgins

    Posted: 21 Apr 2021 05:38 PM PDT

im playing the games for the first time, chronologically (well technically i beat city the year it came out) im about quarterway through orgins and iv only bothered to get about 3 towers from enigma but like is he really all that bad, I mean sure using blackmail and sh*t is bad maybe but this is blackmail on the people like the GCPD, which in orgins at least are pretty terrible people, I feel his methods may not be morally sound (or very effective clearly) but I dont really think hes a bad guy? a raging narcissist sure, but not a bad person.

Edit of Arkham Knight I made [OC]

    Arkham Knight loading glitch.

    Posted: 21 Apr 2021 07:39 PM PDT

I know this isn't what usually gets posted on this subreddit but I thought you guys may be my best shot. I recently got Arkham Knight for the Xbox 1 A and now that it's installed I can't play the game. In the Campaign it works fine in till the scene where we see a Tv cover the Fear attack at the Diner then it freezes and you hear a grind-like sound before it boots you to the Home dash. It does the same with AR challenges at least with the pack that's free because it's the only one I have. I've tried cleaning it and a hard reset but it still doesn't work. All other Games work fine, any ideas?

Has there been any official statement on how King Shark and Captain Boomerang are alive in the Suicide Squad game ?

King shark's head exploded in AOA, while Boomerang was shot in the skull in the AK comics

An idea for the next Arkham game (?)

    Posted: 21 Apr 2021 09:03 AM PDT

I posted a version of this before, but honestly, I like this idea quite a lot, I wanted to share it.

Essentially, it's a Battle for the Cowl, it's easy to understand, everybody knows it and it is loyal to the series.

In the game, you'd be able to select one of four characters to play as, being able to switch them in the open world so you can choose you want to play as in the next mission.

I think a decent roster would be : Jason Todd as Red Hood, Dick Grayson as Nightwing, Tim Drake as Robin and Michael Lane as Azrael.

They are (seemingly) the top contenders to be the next Batman and they would have to protect Gotham throughout the game to prove themselves to Bruce.

You would have a specific ending based on what character actually played more missions (maybe?) or you were most successful with, and after Bruce personally grants you your new identity as the Dark Knight, the final boss battle would be against Bruce himself, while whatever character you ended with, was rocking a new Batsuit. The batsuit could even be different for each character (A red-ish batsuit with a mouthplate for Azrael, maybe a mix of black and blue for Nightwing?)

The game could even have sections in which you play as 2, 3 or the whole 4 characters, allowing you to choose who your partners are. If you wanted to stop Two-Face as Azrael and Red Hood, you'd choose them.

I also think Joker's story would be done. He wouldn't be in the game at all, apart from characters mentioning him and some easter eggs. He would not be relevant to the plot.

As for a main villain, I think most of them have gotten a lot of love. I'd like maybe the duo of Killer Croc and Black Mask that managed to live after what happened in the previous game.

    Thoughts?

Without spoiling anything, in what order should I start playing the Arkham Games?

    Posted: 21 Apr 2021 03:23 PM PDT

I recently started playing Arkham knight, and at that moment I was aware that there are two more games behind me, Arkham asylum and Arkham city. I thought it was a mistake to start playing midway but I thought I would finish it before I start the Arkham series chronologically.

That's when I learned that the Arkham series isn't just these three games, and there are several others. Wikipedia didn't clear anything. In a linear timeline, where should I start and where should I end? Or can I just play in order of release date? I'm in it for the narration mostly.

If I already own Arkham knight but buy the Arkham collection how does that affect both games

    Posted: 21 Apr 2021 08:07 AM PDT

I don't know if the question is clear but will the progress in Arkham knight be changed at all if I got all 3, or should I just get return to Arkham and call it a day with the first 2 games
