I have read many discussions with regards to why the cure didn't work. This is the first time I have seen it being addressed in game. The canonical answer is: Batman was injected with so much of Joker's blood that the cure was ineffective.

REPOST: In the corridor going across high above the ACE Chemicals bridge in Arkham Knight you can see two doors that are the same as the doors in Arkham Asylum. These doors are also in Iron Heights Prison. I love details like this. I reposted this to add the part about Iron Heights.

Just finished main story and Don't know why Arkham Knight gets so much hate. I personally liked it more than Asylum and City. Any particular reasons?

This is my third playthrough of this game. I've completed it to 240%, but after 4 years, I had to play it again. I just can't stop thinking about how well Rocksteady implemented The Joker into the game.

He is so fucking funny. How he just pops up out of nowhere and mugs Batman. His hidden messages to batman made me legit crack out loud. And putting him in as a hallucination to the fear gas makes a lot of sense imo. Depends on how you look at it, but considering that Bruce is a human, he couldn't go unaffected by the fear toxin. I see it as his fear is the joker coming back, or becoming him due to what happened in Arkham City.
