    Consistent Man Bat tips

    Posted: 08 Mar 2020 09:56 PM PDT

Just wanted to put this out there since I see a lot of people didn't know this.

First, you will know that the jump scare is coming because you won't be able to grapple boost. You will mash X and nothing will happen. In other words if you can grapple boost you will not get the jump scare and vice versa. This applies to both the man bat and joker jump scares.

Second, a 100% consistent preparation for the first jump scare is to grapple to the roof of the building that Riddler appears on when he first tells you about Catwoman's hostage situation. (See BAV's video to know what building, it's The one with the big screen). The man bat jump scare will initiate here 100% of the time so you can know it's coming. Unfortunately I do not have a 100% consistent setup for the joker version. I will work on that in my next play through.

Use these tips so he doesn't catch you off guard.

I was sceptical at first, but I ended up loving Knightmare mode!

As someone who has beaten all of the games, but is terrible I thought I wouldn't be able to play Arkham Knight without the counter prompts, I gave it a go and it's so much fun. It means stun guns, shields etc. are so much more of a threat and makes combos feel so much cooler. I always found the stealth parts my favourite of these games, but now the regular combat I find just as fun!

Is this mode an option in the other games? Because I'd like to try it if so

The attention to detail in Knight is underrated

It gets praise in the community, but as far as triple A titles go, this one doesn't get nearly enough praise for what it does with its environment and player choice. It is amazing. Personally, I LOVE the changes made on billboards and architecture to resemble Joker through the game. Not only does it provide spectacle, but it also reminds us what's at stake if Batman crosses THAT line.

In Arkham Asylum, If you try to use Detective Vision during any one of the scarecrow missions, you will hear scarecrow faintly laughing in the background.

What I would like to see from the Arkham series going forward

    Posted: 08 Mar 2020 06:09 PM PDT

While I do believe there most likely won't be more than two more games in the series (origins sequel and knight sequel) I think there is potential for at most 4 more games in the series.

The first one being the origins sequel which is the most likely to happen. I would like to see it take place around late October of year 4 (dick Grayson would have just become robin and batgirl would have started about a month earlier). Main villain would be penguin and black mask (he deserves it). Also the origins of two face.

I think there should be another game between the previous game I mentioned and asylum taking place at around year 7 (with Jason Todd as Robin). The reason I believe there should be another game before asylum is that with bios in asylum and the evidence room in knight show a lot of villains that have been caught but have not been seen in the series yet. A bunch of lower rate villains get a chance for infamy by killing the bat. Rat catcher, great white shark, maxie Zeus, ventriloquist, Solomon Grundy and Anarky could be in it.

The next game will cover a larger period of time, unlike other arkham games. This one will sadly contain joker. Poison ivy's spores kills hundreds and joker starts to take over Gotham. The game will end with him getting captured by Batman and brought to the asylum.

The final game will be a knight sequel without batman. The main villains would be the court of owls. It would be revealed that Talia gave birth to Damien before her death in City. The game will be split up into four sections by each playable character. The characters would be Tim drake, Damien, nightwing, and red hood. Maybe in dlc you could get an extra section with azrael. Nightwing's gameplay would be more stealth oriented, Damiens would be mostly combat, red hood would have more gun oriented gameplay and Tim's would be both stealth and combat and would be able to use oracles hacking for special moves and puzzle solving. The game would rotate through characters and every now and then you get a section where you can switch between characters in giant combat sections.

This is what I would personally like to see in the series going forward. Maybe 2 of them could be made by WB and we could get a third developer for the other 2. Naughty dog or insomniac could be pretty cool.
